Hi,

 

Join me for another day where General Hospital, once my favorite escape and relaxation show has disappointed me yet again. 

 

First -No Liason scenes - that's any scene with the gentle, true, funny and sometimes fiesty and certainly long-lasting and faithful loving between characters Jason Morgan and Elizabeth Webber.

 

Second - No real hospital scenes and not one ambulance siren! No one said "Stat"

 

Third - What are they doing to Robin and Patrick?  Pregnancy is fun, wacky and a miracle especailly considering Robin's HIV status.  They should enjoy every second.

 

Fourth - I am so over the Sonny/Carly/Jason and their mob thing.  It has run its course, if we have to have mob guys -then let Jerry Jax and the Zacharras have a turn.  Jerry and Claudia in these roles are at least funny and believable.  Claudia, is like a male Sonny from years past.  Don't think too far along these lines, because it kinds of gets incestous.

 

Fifth - Where is the GH main families and characters?  Let Jason be a Quartermaine again, claim Jake and Elizabeth and they can have a new little Emily for us.

 

Sixth - Remember humor and fun action (not just shoot-outs, guns and violence), buddy bonding and solid girlfriend relationships, pool? Oh, those were the days. 

 

Seventh - Family?  At this rate there will be no family to invite for Thanksgiving at the Quartermaine's.  Lets keep and push everyone away, kill them off or put them in rehab.  A nice Mom, Father or grandparents scene would be nice every once in a blue moon.  Sad, Sad, Sad!

 

Eight - What to do about Alexis?  She is a fun actress.  Let's involve her in a love triangle with Jerry and Mac Scorpio.  Then Felicia could come back.  Plus, Maxie needs her Mom in the worst way.

 

Nine - When did having your true love with you as a partner and facing the world and its' problems become boring?  Jason and Elizabeth could have great story lines about the wonderful, positive power of love and family.  Am I the only one that would watch?  

(Let's be real here, I am still a closet Bo & Hope Fan,  just can't stand the Days show anymore).

 

Last but not least - Sexy shower scenes, kisses and eye sex can be really powerful, hot even when the two people are married to each other and have kids.  Grow Up GH!

 

I know it is summer and TBTB's storyline will try to attract the kids home from school, but they could also send a positive message against guns/violence, using your head, caring love and adventure without death.  Jason and Elizabeth could be mentors to Johnny and Lulu.  Johnny and Lulu reminds me of the 1999 Jason and Elizabeth anyway.

 

Thanks for reading my thoughts as I was spouting off about missing the old, glorious GH and some of the changes I would like to see.  I may be a voice of only one, but I feel better for sharing.
